A critique of modern dependence on technology, inspired by William Blake's 'London'. Social media and technology are now quintessential to our identity.

I browse the crowded density,

To find faces obscured by screens,

Filtered truths and identity,

Network of withdrawn figurines.

In every scroll, the silk unwinds,

In every click, it weaves a thread,

In every like, every reply,

The spider stitches its vast bed.

And they, the flies, lured by design,

Succumb entranced, lost in a daze,

While it feasts from their precious time,

Countless more join this virtual maze.

Hear the voice of silent cries,

Every young soul in tragedy,

Locked in webs of deceitful guise,

Pixels now paints reality.
